Susan Faiola is an illustrator, designer, and cartoonist. Her work has been featured in Rolling Stone, The New York Times, New York Magazine, Premiere, Adweek, Seventeen, Glamour, GQ, Parents Magazine, Forbes, Muppets Magazine, The Boston Globe, The NY Daily News, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, and many other publications. She designed and illustrated the cover for the best selling Amazon Kindle Single, Attempted Hippie.
She's had a line of hand painted furniture, murals, and paintings sold in Los Angeles and New York City. Her clients have included Imagine That, Portrait of a Bookstore, Larry King, The Olsen Twins, Lisa Marie Presley, and Holly Heston.
She has done sets for LaMama Theater in New York City, and has designed labels for Littauer, Balius, and Poe Wines.
She has designed textiles for Michael Miller Fabrics, and her lines have included "Modern Home" and "The Old West". She has a shop on Spoonflower.com, where she sells designs for fabric, wallpaper, and gift wrap. Her designs for various products can also be found on Redbubble.com.
Her exhibits have included The Gallery MacEgan 2009 Group Show, Hearts For Haiti 2010, The Morristown EcoCenter Pop Up Show--April 2011, The Arts Unbound Gallery group shows--August 2011, April 2014, May 2015, April 2016, and Zufall Health, Summer 2015. She designed ornaments for the 2015 New Jersey Christmas tree at The White House in Washington DC.
Her comic book, Ruby Ritz's Cartoon Annual, is available on Amazon, and the strip, Ruby Ritz NYC is currently appearing in the four Manhattan weekly newspapers published by Straus Media.
